John G. Kenney

September 20, 1931 — March 17, 2010

Kenney – John G., of Medfield, died March 17, 2010. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Ann (Devlin) Kenney for 53 years. Loving father of Joan M. Sweeney and her husband David of Hauppauge, NY, John G. Kenney Jr. and his wife E. Nicole of Princeton Junction, NJ, Elizabeth A. Wakely and her husband Jeffrey of Norfolk and Mary E. Monagle and her husband Kevin of Wellesley. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Uncle of Elizabeth M. Churchill of Hingham and brother of the late Sr. Marie Assumpta, CSJ and Catherine V. Kenney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Sunday March 21st from 2-6pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday morning March 22nd at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward the Confessor Church, Medfield at 10am. Interment with military honors at Newton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s memory to the Bethany Health Care Center, Office of Advancement, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, MA 01702 or to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016. John was a former employee in the Printing Products Division of 3M Company for 37 years and he also was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea.
