John E. Hamilton

HAMILTON – John E., of Holbrook, formerly of Brockton and Stoughton, died peacefully on January 3rd, 2016. Beloved son of the late Claire (Jacobsen) Hamilton. Survived by his father and stepmother, Lawrence and Edith Hamilton, his aunts Carole Friedman and Marie Schulze, his foster mother Justina Malave and a large and loving extended family. John was an avid bingo player and loved his day program at Mater Dei Adult Day Care. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday January 11th at 11am in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 906 North Main Street, Brockton, MA. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 355 Walk Hill St., Boston. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to Mater Dei Adult Day Care, 250 Thatcher Street, Brockton, MA 02302.
