STEWART - Jeanne Marie (Dagle), of Plymouth, formerly of Quincy, age 69, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, March 16 at Hancock Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Quincy after a long illness. She was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, a daughter of Katherine (Hanlon) and John J. Dagle, where she was a graduate of Monsignor Ryan Memorial High School. Although employed as the Pre-Admission Coordinator at Saint Margaret's Hospital for Women in Dorchester and then the Manet Community Health Center in Quincy, her principal focus was on raising her family and she was exceptionally devoted to the care of her twin grand-daughters. In this capacity, she gave her all. Jeannie was the beloved wife of 48 years of Thomas W. Stewart of Plymouth, loving mother to Brian M. Stewart of Vero Beach, FL and Patricia E. Stewart and her spouse Henry Miller, Jr., and the adoring grandmother to Brianna and Katelyn Miller of Braintree, MA. Jeannie also conferred adopted status to Jennifer Minear of Cambridge, MA and lovingly considered her a second daughter. Jeannie is also survived by her sisters Kathy Holler of Quincy, Carol Mosca and her husband James of Middleboro and her brother Jack Dagle and his wife Susan of Wareham as well as many nieces and nephews. Jeannie will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She possessed boundless energy and diligence in helping others to achieve their greatest potential and showered those around her with much love and affection. She had a gift for easing one's burden with laughter and wit and was a great conversationalist. In celebration of her life, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral Mass at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1000 Sea Street, Quincy, MA 02169 on Thursday, March 31st at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers and for those who wish, donations may be made in Jeanne's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter at alz.org/manh.
