HOLDEN, Jane M. (McDougall), of Duxbury, formerly of Belmont and Arlington, died March 4th, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Edward P. Holden Jr. Loving mother of Edward P. Holden III and his wife Beth of Stoneham, Mark X. Holden and his wife Loretta of Westwood, Peter J. Holden and his wife Judy of Duxbury and the late Anne Holden and Jane Holden. Devoted grandmother of Meghan Cotter, Philip, Timothy, Andrew, James, Patrick, Teddy and Robert Holden and great grandmother of Brendan and Jack Cotter and Connor Holden. Sister of Judy Almond of Mashnee Village, Bourne MA and the late Barbara O'Brien, Ann Fuller and John McDougall Jr. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Wednesday March 8th from 4-7pm. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Thursday morning March 9th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood at 10am. Interment at Old Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jane's memory to Peter Frates Home Health Initiative, c/o The ALS Association, 1275 K. Street NW, Suite 250, Washington, DC 20005 or their website at www.alsa.org/frateshhi or to The Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Plymouth, MA 02360. Jane was a graduate of Belmont High School class of 1943.
