Irene L. Cacciagrani

Our beloved mother, Irene Louise Cacciagrani, passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 94. She was known for her warmth, strength, humor, and her unwavering love for her family. She touched countless lives with her caring and her compassionate personality. Irene was the beloved wife of the late Albert Cacciagrani and she is survived by her son Albert Cacciagrani Jr and his wife Barbara Ann, her son Richard J Cacciagrani and Brian C Sheehan, her daughter Pamela A Donnelly and her husband Charles B Donnelly. Irene is survived by her loving grandchildren Jared M Cacciagrani, Sean A Donnelly, Christopher B. Donnelly, Matthew J Donnelly.

Irene's greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and family with her loving persona. She enjoyed spending time with friends, traveling, reading, and cooking her Italian specialties for everyone. She had an infectious smile and a strong passion to live life to its fullest. Although you left us, we all agree that the time we shared with you, we will treasure in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Friday June 27th from 9am – 10:30am. Following the Visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am in St. Theresa-Avila Catholic Church, 2078 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Please omit flowers. Interment is private.
