SIMPSON – Harold A., "Harry the Painter", of Westwood, formerly of Hyde Park, died October 3rd, 2012.

Beloved husband of Shirley A. (Cullen) Simpson for 54 years. Loving father of James Noseworthy and his wife Roxanne, Robert Simpson and his wife Marianne, Linda Gravel and her husband Scott, Catherine Cameron, Leon Simpson, Patricia Murphy and her husband Steven, William Simpson, Brenda Krawec and her husband Joseph and Richard Simpson and his wife Debra. Brother of Robert and Leon Simpson, Margaret Russell and Marilyn Trapp. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Harold served in the U.S. Navy, was a painter for 54 years and turned 75 this year.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Monday Oct. 8th from 2-5pm. A funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Tuesday morning Oct. 9th at 10am. Interment with military honors at the MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harold's memory to the Middleboro Emergency Veterans Fund, P.O. Box 64, Middleboro, MA 02346.
