Hamid Sabbagh, "Khalo", 58, of Walpole, MA, formerly from Beirut, Lebanon, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2021.

Hamid was a successful businessman, owning a Mediterranean supermarket, a Mediterranean restaurant and a meat factory in Norwood, MA. Hamid was the son of Helen (Chamoun) Sabbagh and the late George Sabbagh. Loving and dedicated husband to Renée (Bassil) Sabbagh, of 18 years, proud father of daughter Helena and son George. Brother of Marie Khoury, Amal Chamii, Claire Habr, Mona Sabounji, Nada Habr and Maha Abiaad. He was known as "Khalo" meaning uncle to all his nephew and nieces. He was a very hard working and caring man, true jokester and enjoyed fishing. He was a dedicated father, friend and "boss" loved by everyone around him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Thursday Oct. 14th from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning Oct. 15th at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery.
