Beloved daughter of the late Emil and Blanche M. (LaTorrela) DeAngelis. Devoted sister of the late Edith A. Simons, Edward J. DeAngelis and Ralph DeAngelis. Dear friend of Clement S. Nolan, Anne Cuddy and Steve Barrett.
Gloria was a retired Boston Public Schools Administrator and Director of Staff Development. She was Past President of Alpha Delta Kappa, the Norwood Women's Club and former Director of the Retired Educator's Association of Massachusetts.
Funeral from the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home 55 High Rock St. (Off Route 109) Westwood, on Thursday, November 13, at 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church, Westwood at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation in the funeral home Thursday morning beginning at 9:30am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gloria's name to Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 601 Sherman St. Canton, MA 02021.
