Gerard Gilroy

GILROY – Gerard B. 79 of Westwood, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away on June 17, 2015. Beloved husband of Catherine "Rita" (Greaney) Gilroy. Loving father of Donna DeRosa and husband Ronald of Dedham; Michael Gilroy and wife Linda of Spokane, WA; Diane Gleason and husband Richard of Hopedale; Mary Beth Gilroy and fiancé Christopher Boris of Bedford, NH; Laura Corvini and husband Robert of Watertown; Gerard P. Gilroy and wife Melissa of Westwood and pre-deceased by infant son Gerard B. Jr. Brother of Ronald Gilroy and wife Cynthia of Maryland. Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn & Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood (off Route 109) on Tuesday, June 23rd from 4-8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday morning, June 24th at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Denis Church, 157 Washington Street, Westwood. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery.
