McALICE – George R., of South Dennis, died April 24th, 2010. Beloved husband of Frances A. Smith-McAlice. Loving father of Brian McAlice and his wife Bridgett of Webster and James McAlice of Westborough. Step-father of H. James Smith and his wife Wendy of FL, Anthony Smith and his wife Frances of Medway and Veronica Smith of WA. Brother of Kenneth and Ronald McAlice both of FL and John McAlice of Westwood. Also survived by 3 granddaughters and 1 great granddaughter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Friday April 30th from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning May 1st at 9am in St. Margaret Mary Church, Westwood. Interment with military honors at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George’s memory to Horizons for Homeless Children, 1705 Columbus Ave., Roxbury, MA 02119.
George was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran.
