HUNTOON - George "Papa" Philip, of Dover, formerly of Dedham, passed away at home in the early morning on Wednesday May 25th 2016 at the age of 59.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Karen, his three boys and two daughters-in-law, Chris and Karen Huntoon, Nicholas Huntoon, and Ryan and Danielle Huntoon as well as their three beautiful children Alexis, Blake, and Callie.
We invite those who love him to his wake on Tuesday May 31st 2016 from 5pm – 9pm in the Holden-Dunn-Lawler Funeral Home, located at 55 High Rock Street, Westwood. George's funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday morning June 1st 2016 at 10am in Most Precious Blood Church, 30 Centre Street, Dover. Interment at Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. A reception will follow the burial.
George will forever be remembered for his kind heart and how selflessly he gave back to the community that supported his 4th generation small family owned business for over 40 years. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Dedham Food Pantry.
