George C. Daniels, of Middleboro passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Maureen S. Daniels and loving father of son, Christopher G. Daniels, his wife Nicole M. Daniels and two step-grandchildren Molly and John Panos of Pembroke and daughter, Jennifer A. (Daniels) Didick and her husband Richard Didick of Attleboro.
George worked as an electrician at the Boston Edison for 37 years and spent 6 years in the Army National Guard. He loved baseball! He coached little league teams, loved to watch Christopher pitch at Xaverian, Westwood Legion, UConn and the Boston Park League. His love of sports extended to both his athletic children. He loved watching Jennifer dominate in volleyball, basketball and swimming from Medfield to Franklin Pierce College.
George's favorite times were spent with his family on their many camping adventures from Canada to Walt Disney World. He loved recounting their six week trip across the country.
George's love for his family only slightly rivaled his love of cars. He owned two 1957 T-Birds, two Bricklins with gull wing doors and he ended his days driving his black Monte Carlo Super Sport.
George spent his final weeks at his home at Oak Point in Middleboro being cared for by his loving family. He enjoyed his morning coffee on the screen porch with his wife and son watching the humming birds perform an aerial dance for his viewing pleasure.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood on Tuesday, October 12th at 11am. Interment will be at the New Westwood Cemetery. The family welcomes friends and family to Conrad's in Norwood following the cemetery for lunch and time together to celebrate George's life.
