Moschella, Felix C., of Westwood, died May 11th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Josephine (Vitellaro) Moschella for 73 years. Loving father of Gerald Moschella and his wife Christina of Norton, Patricia Kalicki and her husband Anthony of Medway and Doreen McPherson of Marshfield. Devoted grandfather of Lisa Deehan, Alex Moschella, Stephen and Brenna Kalicki and Chelsea, Taylor and Cullen McPherson. Proud great grandfather of Timothy, Kiera, and Nicolas Deehan and Vivian and Dante Moschella. Also survived by a brother, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Felix was a business owner specializing in manufactured custom-made menswear, and later worked in the Men's Department at Filene's in Braintree. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, bowling, watching the Red Sox and Patriots. He was a proud US Army WWII veteran and a member of the Westwood American Legion Post 320, and proudly carried the American flag in the Westwood Memorial Day parades.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Wednesday May 16th from 4-7pm. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Thursday morning May 17th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy's Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood at 10am. Interment with military honors at New Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Felix's memory to The VA Hospital/Fisher House or a charity of your choice.
