Esther A. Doyle

DOYLE, Esther A. (Halligan), of Westwood, MA, formerly of Watertown, MA, died December 16th, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late James S. Doyle of 43 years. Loving mother of John "Jay" Doyle and his wife Kathy of Millis and Maureen Preskenis and her husband Steven of Westwood. Adored Grandmother of Malachy, Mallory, Julia, Ava and Luke. She was the sister of the late James Halligan and Helen Newman. Also survived by her nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered as a very special "Grandma" to all who knew her. She loved her Boston sports teams, particularly the Red Sox and Celtics and was always proud to be Irish.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Wednesday morning December 22nd from 9am – 10:30am. Following the Visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood at 11am. Interment private.
