Elizabeth "Betty" Paris

Paris, Elizabeth "Betty" (Volk), of Westwood, passed away peacefully at home on November 5th, 2018 at the age of ninety six. She was born in Boston, MA on February 8th 1922 to parents William and Annie (Walden) Volk. Betty was married to the love of her life, the late Louis Paris, for fifty four years. After graduating Wheelock College she went on to teach kindergarten at the Callahan Elementary School for thirty five years. Betty was the beloved sister of the late Muriel Paul and aunt to nephews Robert and Dennis Paul. Mother of Nancy Grant, grandmother of Elizabeth Buckley and great grandmother to multiple great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., WESTWOOD on Thursday Nov. 8th from 4-7pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday morning Nov. 9th at 11am. There will be a private burial at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty's memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept.142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
