Eleanor Edna Kremer, 81, of Westwood MA passed away peacefully on February 23, 2013 at Norwood Hospital. Born in Pawtucket, RI on June 20, 1931 to Eugene and Annie Vogt.
Eleanor graduated valedictorian at Sacred Heart High School and worked for years as an office manager in Pawtucket. She then married Joseph Kremer and lived in Westwood for 42 years with her family of four children. She was a kind and loving person who was very involved in her church community. She also enjoyed bird watching and caring for animals.
She is survived by her husband Joseph of 47 years, and their four children Mary Jo and husband Robert Tartaglia of Wrentham, Christa and husband Iskandar Hashim of Kuala Lumpur, Christopher and his wife Jeannine Kremer of Westwood, and Paul Kremer of Walpole, along with seven grandchildren Zoie and Rain Hashim, Jacqueline and Caroline Kremer, and Robert, Gabrielle and Harrison Tartaglia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St (off Route 109), Westwood on Tuesday, Feb. 26 from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday morning Feb. 27 at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Margaret Mary Church at 10 am. Interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and will be missed dearly by all.
