Eileen D. (McDougall) Sullivan

April 10, 1915 — January 26, 2011

SULLIVAN – Eileen D. (McDougall) of Walpole, formerly of Westwood, passed away peacefully January 26th, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Gregory Sullivan Esq. of Westwood and daughter of the late Frederick and Sarah (Boyd) McDougall of Jamaica Plain. Loving mother of Maureen Flynn and her husband Tom of Jamaica Plain, Nancy Sullivan and her husband Fred Campbell of Walpole and the late Karen Sullivan of Yardley, PA. Eileen is also survived by her sister Muriel Desmond of Orlando, FL. Eileen was the cherished Nana of Lisa Montgomery, Mark, David, and Rob Paine, Gregory and Christopher Campbell as well as six great-grandchildren. Many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends also survive her.

Eileen spent her life surrounded by family and friends. She was born and raised in Jamaica Plain. Eileen and Gregory raised their children in both Newton Highlands and Westwood. She enjoyed raising her children, was an avid bridge player and a proud member of the Westwood Women’s Club. Eileen was always known for her wisdom, generosity and acute memory. Her legacy will live on through the love of her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St.(off Route 109) Westwood on Sunday, January 30th from 2 – 6 PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday morning January 31st at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10 AM. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery.
