Neville - Edward Joseph, Jr., of Rye, NH, formerly of Wellesley Hills, MA; 80 years old passed away quietly on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Born in Portsmouth, NH on September 19, 1933 he was the son of the late Edward J. and Margaret Frances (Holden) Neville.

Edward graduated from Boston College in 1955. After graduation he worked for Raytheon and shortly afterwards he started his own business as Spectran in Marlboro, MA. In later years he retired from the Honeywell Corporation.

In final memory, Eddie loved the Newton Reflections Group, his quiet friendships, easy laughter, and was always a gentleman. Friends of fast Eddie's, he was loved by many, God Bless.

Edward is survived by his beloved sister Nancy M. Neville, with whom he made his home, his sister Barbara Barrett Waterhouse and husband Robert of Wolfeboro, NH, and Stuart, FL; four children Edward J. Neville III of Melrose, Ellen Frances Connolly of South Boston, Kathleen Mary Looney of Norwood, Alice Blossom of Melrose, MA; and four grandchildren. Edward was predeceased by his parents and his brother-in-law Thomas W. Barrett.

Funeral from the Holden Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Friday morning April 11, at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Paul's Church, 502 Washington St. Wellesley at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the funeral home on Thursday April 10 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery Wellesley, MA.
