Connelly – Edward F. Jr., of Westwood, formerly of Roslindale, died August 4, 2014.
Beloved husband of Sheila C. (Jones) Connelly for 40 years. Loving father of Siobhan Dennehy and her husband Matthew of Medfield, Stephanie Ramales and her husband Jeronimo of The Bronx, NY, Edward F. Connelly III of Quincy, Colman C. Connelly and his wife Kathryn of Los Angeles, CA and Ian D. Connelly of Quincy. Brother of Mildred Reissfelder of Westwood, Sr. Dorothy Connelly SND of Windsor, CT, Mary Connelly of McLean, VA, Paul Connelly of Easton and the late Helen Perachi and Rose Virginia Connelly. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Ed taught for 39 years in the Boston Public School System.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Friday Aug. 8, from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning Aug. 9 at 10am in St. Denis Church, 157 Washington St., Westwood. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 60 Walnut St., Wellesley Hills, MA 02481.
