Edith (ladonisi) Killelea

Killelea, Edith (Iadonisi), age 98, of Dedham, formerly of Westwood/Islington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 27. Edith was the beloved wife for 68 years of the late Roger Killelea.
Devoted mother to: Timothy (Judy Hart-Killelea) of Westwood; Patricia Jacobsen (Kathy Galligan) of Brockton; Anne Bergen (Tom Nolan) of Franklin; Mary Burke (Tom) of Marshfield; Peter (Winnie Greene) of Dedham and the late Roger Jr.
Edith is also survived by 14 grandchildren: Roger III, Patrick, Michelle, Nancy, Christine, Kate, Amy, Abby, Marykate, Kelly, Kevin, Rose, Annie, Peter and 13 great-grandchildren.
Edith was born in Dedham to Maria and Joseph Iadonisi who immigrated to America in the early 1900's. She grew up in a large, loving family with seven siblings and is survived by her youngest brother, Joe Iadonisi, Jr. from New Hampshire. She was predeceased by Carmen, Lena Kennedy, Nancy Campagna, Louis, Henry and Jo Wallis.
Although diminutive in size, Edith was a fierce and driving force in both instilling family values and living up to them. She will be missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., WESTWOOD on Thursday, November 1 from 4-8 P.M. Interment private.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Edith's life at the Norfolk Golf Club, 166 East St., Westwood on Friday, November 2 at noon.
