Dorothy M. Meehan

MEEHAN, Dorothy M. (Kelly), of Hopkinton, MA, formerly of Franklin, MA died suddenly February 6th, 2022. Beloved wife of the late John Meehan. Loving mother of Mark Hawisher, Marcia Howarth, Marian Hawisher and James J. Hawisher. Cherished grandmother of Heidi Howarth and Hillary Howarth and great grandmother of Madison. Sister of the late John Kelly Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. Her working life was as an Elementary School Teacher in the town of Franklin MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Tuesday Feb. 15th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning Feb. 16th in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood at 10am. Face masks are required to be worn for both the Visiting Hours and the Funeral Mass. Interment following the Mass will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at Stjude.org.
