Doris H. (Clough) Waugh

Waugh, Doris H. (Clough), of Medfield and Milton, died February 8th, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late James T. Waugh. Loving mother of Maureen L. Alfieri and her husband John of Medfield. Devoted grandmother of Michael Alfieri and his wife Catherine of Walpole and Lauren Alfieri of Medfield. Great grandmother of Chloe and Johnny Alfieri. Sister of the late Louise O'Connell. Over the course of her lifetime, Doris held many positions, starting out as a clerk at the West Roxbury Division of Boston Municipal Court. She worked as a sales representative for General Foods, an office manager for Howard Johnson Corp. and also in real estate. In 1980 Doris moved to Palm Harbor, FL where she resided for 25 years. Since returning to the Boston area, she has resided in Milton. Doris was an avid reader, a lover of life, her family and friends and could rarely be seen without her radiant smile. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Monday Feb. 20th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning Feb. 21st at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doris' memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
