Donna Marie Phalen

Donna Marie (Dwyer) Phalen, of Norwood, MA died peacefully on January 27th, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Donna was born July 21^st, 1935, in Worcester to Gloria Ragagli Dwyer and Michael Stephen Dwyer. For 57 years, she was the beloved wife of the late Leo F. Phalen. Loving mother of Anne Blackington and her partner Roger Raymond of Millis, MA; Julie Lydon, and her husband Stephen of Alton, NH; Linda Phalen and her husband Lee Hargraves of Framingham, MA; and the late Stephen Phalen and his wife Rhonda Phalen of Jackson, NH. Devoted grandmother of Kendra Phalen, Leo Lydon and Kimberlyn Reardon, Brittany Blackington, and Erik and Emma Hargraves. Great grandmother of Jameson, River, Mabel, John, and Stephen. Sister of the late Stephen John Dwyer. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Donna and Leo Phalen built a successful graphic arts company, Quill Publications Inc. of Needham, MA. She was a creative knitter and her family loved receiving knit items with the Made with Love by Gammy label. Donna was an avid skier and enjoyed hosting family and friends in Bartlett, NH.
