Reilly- Colonel Donald F. (Retired), of Dedham, MA and Long Island, ME died on December 1st after a courageous 25 year struggle with Parkinson's disease. He passed as he would have wanted, at home surrounded by his family.

Loving husband of Mary (McDermott) Reilly for 53 years. Much loved father of Maura Ronan and her husband Jim, Ellen McMahon and her husband Joe and Frank Reilly and his wife Lisa all of Walpole as well as Alice Stecko and her husband Ted of Natick. Son of the late Frank and Alice Reilly of Westwood, brother of Pauline Turner of Norton, Ellie Foley and her husband Dan of Wrentham and the late Carolyn Reilly of Westwood. Loving "Papa" to Brendan, Jack and Elizabeth Ronan, Conor and Liam McMahon, Meghan and Owen Reilly, Timmy and Matthew Stecko and Abby and Colin Hile. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born in 1933, he grew up in Hyde Park, attended Cathedral High School, graduated from Boston Teachers College and then received his Master's in Education at Suffolk University. He served the country he loved for 33 years, first in the Marine Corp and then the Army National Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 55 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Wednesday Dec. 4th from 3-7pm. The funeral will begin at the funeral home on Thursday morning Dec. 5th at 10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Denis Church, Westwood at 11am. Interment at a later date on Long Island, Maine.
