Frost, Don S., of Westwood, died peacefully on March 11, 2017 after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was always quick to mention his hometown of Caribou, ME, where he grew up with his parents Royal Henry and Elizabeth Ann Frost, his sister Jane and brother Jeff. He worked to improve the well being of others in the social work and healthcare fields. For 38 years, he kept his beloved wife Alison Magee laughing. Always a great Dad and coach, his children Emily and Alex and son-in-law Nick loved being together — from skiing to tennis to concerts to trips — and adored his frequent calls and always sunny outlook. Don's favorite times were chatting on the porch at Salter's Point, spending time with good friends and family, listening to music, talking Boston sports and goofing with his grandson Henry, the light of his life. Don was guided by his faith in God. He was grateful to his medical team and wide circle of loving friends. All are invited to a service at St. John's Episcopal Church in Westwood on Saturday, March 18th at 2 p.m. Donations may be made in his honor to LLS.org or to the BMT Program at BIDMC.
