Derek J. Brogna

BROGNA- Derek J (27), of Westwood, died suddenly on November 9, 2015. Beloved son of Joseph A. Brogna of East Boston and Mary Beth (Swan) Brogna of Westwood (formerly of Weymouth). Loving brother of Noel R. Brogna of Foxboro and sadly the late Jason A. Brogna of Westwood who Derek will be laid to rest with. Beloved uncle of Ashley J. Nistendirk of Foxbo-ro. Loving grandson of Mary (Bellew) Swan, the late Thomas M. Swan of South Weymouth (formerly of Dorchester), the late Rose (DiDhiara) Brogna and the late Joseph Brogna of East Boston. Derek will be remembered by his loving aunts and uncle, godmother Susan Swan (Ja-blonski) of Marshfield, godfather Mark Jablonski of Lakeville, Janice (Brogna) DeStefano and the late Netta (Brogna) DeCrescenzo, as well as his many loving cousins, Kristin, Nick and Matt Jablonski of Lakeville, Robert, Maureen and Dyane DeStefano of Raynham, longtime family friend Elaine (Powers) Nappolitano of East Boston and his favorite dogs Bella and Soldier. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home located at 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Thursday, November 19th from 4-8 PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday morning, November 20th at 10 AM fol-lowed by an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 845 High St (Route 109), Westwood. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery immediately following.
