Daniel A. Gentile

GENTILE, Daniel Augustine, of Westwood. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Daniel A. Gentile, 75, on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at home after an illness. Born in Arlington, MA, he was the son of the late Donato and Elena (Visocchi) Gentile and raised in Brighton, MA. Danny was a graduate of Brighton High School. After graduation Danny pursued a carrier in the Cadillac industry and was a Certified Master Auto Technician for Cadillac for 45 years. Starting his career at Peter Fuller Cadillac, Boston, MA and retiring from Frost Cadillac in Newton, MA. Danny was a Grand Master of the Algonquin Masonic Lodge, Braintree, MA. Danny is survived by his wife of 54 years Sharron (Trenchard) Gentile, daughter Tina, son Douglas (Amy). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Daniel, Isabella, Trevison and Ryan. He is also survived by his siblings Maria, Rosalie, Michael, Margo (late Lorenzo), Anthony and Evan (Shirley); sisters-in-law Sheila (Peter), Glenda (Ian), as well as many nieces and nephews, numerous friends and loved ones. He was predeceased by a brother Anthony in infancy; parents-in-law Arthur and Christina (Currie) Trenchard and brother-in-law Ralph Trenchard.

Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham, MA has taken place at the direction of Holden, Dunn & Lawler Funeral Home, Westwood, MA.
