Doherty, Charles L. Jr., of Westwood, formerly of Somerville and Arlington, died September 25, 2018.
Beloved husband of Dorothea "Dot" R. Sparrow for 35 years. Loving father of Erin Walsh and her husband John of Framingham and Shawna Doherty of Arlington. Devoted grandfather of John, Brendan, Claire and Maeve Walsh. Charles was predeceased by four siblings and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Among his many accomplishments Charles was Chief Financial Officer of the New England Hemophilia Association, Chairman of the Board of RTN Credit Union and a Boston College Double Eagle Class of 1955.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., WESTWOOD, on Friday Sept. 28th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning Sept. 29th at 10am in St. Denis Church, 157 Washington St., Westwood. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles' memory to New England Hemophilia.org. Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran.
