On May 27, 1933, Carole was born in Brockton, MA to Frances and Stuart Willet. After losing her father at an early age, she and her sister were raised with a "song and a dance" by her amazing mother. Carole graduated from Brockton High, going on to earn a degree from Katherine Gibbs before working at Hale and Dorr, and AT&T. She met the man of her dreams and settled in Westwood. While raising her 3 wonderful/witty children, Carole established a successful real estate business, spanning 5 decades. Selling real estate wasn't work, it was her passion. She was a church soloist for 50 years, and also a self-taught pianist. Her home was filled with music, love, and laughter.
The simplest pleasures brought Carole joy - morning walks in Chatham, coffee, ice cream, reading, cheap white wine, boat rides, beach days, dogs of all sizes and flirting with tall handsome guys. Carole shared her love of life with all who had the good fortune to meet her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Tuesday February 7th from 3-7pm.
