Carmen Benincasa

June 18, 1930 — October 30, 2024

Westwood, MA

Carmen Benincasa of Westwood, MA, died October 30th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Lena Benincasa of Westwood, MA. He was born in Vitulazio, Naples, Italy, on June 18th, 1930. He was the son of the late Luigi and Paolina (Antropoli) Benincasa. Beloved father to Pauline (Joseph) Devito of Watertown, MA, and Marie (Peter) Synk of Westwood, MA. Loving grandfather of Alicia (Jeff) Turner, Vincent Tuccio, Sarah, and Gabrielle Synk. Cherished great-grandfather of Nathan and Everly Turner. Loving brother to the late Antonina Giudicianni, Francesco Benincasa, Eufemia Tantini, Elisabella Benincasa, and survived by his loving sister Olga Gianfranchi. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Carmen came from Naples, Italy, to the United States, where he lived the American Dream. He was a hard-working and determined man who wanted to provide for his family with the best life—working beside his wife, Lena's side, for over 50 years in the pizzeria called Napoli’s in Watertown, MA, where they were known and loved by everyone for their welcoming environment and delicious food, especially the pizza. When he could, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, making his homemade wine, and working in his garden. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
