Bridget A. (Walsh) O'Brien

O’BRIEN – Bridget A. (Walsh), of Westwood, died February 2nd, 2010. Bridget was born in Spiddal, Galway. Beloved wife of Michael J. O’Brien for 59 years. Loving mother of Maureen T. O’Brien and her husband Robert Sweeney of Dedham, Michael F. O’Brien and his wife Kathleen of Houston, TX, Catherine M. White and her husband Robert of Walpole and Kevin S. O’Brien and his wife Linda of North Attleboro. Devoted grandmother of Meredith Sweeney, Kerie, Michael, Matthew, Anthony and Katie O’Brien and Lindsay and Laura White. Beloved sister-in-law of Margaret Smith of West Roxbury. Bridget was predeceased by 1 sister and 6 brothers. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Thursday February 4th from 4-8pm. Funeral from the Funeral Home on Friday morning February 5th at 10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Denis Church, Westwood at 11am. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bridget’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
