Brenda G. Henderson (83) passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, at Barre Gardens Nursing Home.
Born May 16, 1942, in Montreal, Canada, Brenda was the daughter of Alton and Stella (Hantow) Williams. She was fostered for many years by several families in Canada and the United States. She moved to the United States as a young woman, where she met her husband, Everett Henderson, Sr. After marrying on May 4th, 1963, Brenda and Everett settled in Westwood, Massachusetts, where they thoroughly enjoyed raising their three children.
Brenda enjoyed nature, animals, gardening, cooking, skiing, playing cards, dancing, music, gathering with friends, and watching sports. She participated in many community activities over the years, volunteering her time to town programs, youth sports, and church events at St. Margaret Mary Parish. Brenda spent her later years living in Warren, Vermont, near Sugarbush Mountain. She always had an adventurous spirit, a generous heart, and great love for her children and grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her son Everett Henderson, Jr., and his wife Melissa of New Bern, North Carolina, her daughter Tania Henderson of Nederland, Colorado, and her son Brett Henderson of Amesbury, Massachusetts. She also leaves her five grandchildren, Everett Henderson III, Sean Henderson, Anna Henderson, Maya Henderson Parr, and Leila Henderson Parr.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Everett S. Henderson, Sr.
A service will be held at the Holden-Dunn-Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock Street, Westwood, Massachusetts, on Saturday, April 25th at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Old Westwood Cemetery in Westwood, Massachusetts.
