Beatrice C. "Betty" (Sullivan) Abbis

ABBIS – Beatrice C. "Betty" (Sullivan), of Walpole, formerly of Northborough, died March 12th 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Joseph "Pat" Abbis for 69 years. Loving mother of Anne Marie Sylvester and her husband Stanley of Westwood and the late Joseph P. Abbis Jr. Mother-in law of Pauline Abbis of Bellingham. Devoted grandmother of Joseph, Karen and Michael. Sister of the late Richard, Arthur and Charles Sullivan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Wednesday March 16th from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday morning March 17th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood at 10am. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, in memory of Amy Lee Sullivan c/o Amy's Army, P.O.
