Barbara Harnett

HARNETT, Barbara A. (O'Toole) of Westwood, MA died November 28th, 2022. Devoted mother of Brian Harnett and his wife MaryBeth of Plymouth, Edward of Westwood and the late Kevin Harnett. Cherished grandmother of Justin Harnett and his wife Kyle of Norwell. Proud and doting great grandmother of Henry Harnett. Dear sister of Jane Gillespie of Franklin and the late Elaine Stranahan, William O'Toole and Mary Cronin. Beloved Aunt and Great Aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was dedicated to her family and extended family and treasured family outings in Plymouth, Norwell and Franklin. She also had a great love for children and dogs, especially Tucker and Beacon.

The family would like to express gratitude to Barbara's medical providers at Atrius Health, especially Naila Wahid MD, and at Beth Israel Deaconess. A special thank you to the dedicated nurses at the Beth Israel Needham Intensive Care unit for their care and compassion.

There will be no visiting hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High Street, Westwood on Monday December 5th at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities of Boston, MSPCA Angell, or a charity of your choice.
