Annette P. Pendergast

Pendergast, Annette P., of Westwood and Yarmouthport, on March 6, 2018, passed away days before her 94th St. Patrick's Day birthday. Daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Hasse) Pendergast. She was predeceased by her sister Jeanne and her brother-in-law Daniel. Beloved Aunt of Carol Brown and her husband Mark of Dedham, Stephen Fay and his wife Debora of Braintree, Christopher Fay and his wife Jo-Anne of Peabody, John Fay and his wife Carolyn of New Rochelle, NY and Jane Filosa and her husband Richard of Marblehead. Also survived by 10 loving grandnieces and nephews.

Annette loved spending her summers at her home in Yarmouthport and on the area beaches. She was a graduate of Regis College Class of 1945 and an active member of its Alumni Association. Annette was employed by New England Telephone Company, and it successors, from 1948 until she retired in 1989 and a former member of the Westwood Finance Commission.

Visiting hours will be at Holden Dunn Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock Street, Westwood, on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:30 with an 11:00 Funeral Mass celebrated at Saint Denis Parish, Westwood and interment at New Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Annette's name may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, 637 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA 02135 or Regis College, 235 Wellesley Street, Weston, MA 02493.
