Anne Marie Delaney passed away peacefully in the presence of her sister Ellen, who cared for her along with the home care nursing staff in Medfield, MA.

Anne Marie was born in Boston in 1945. She was the eldest daughter of Richard and Ellen Delaney.

Anne Marie leaves her siter Ellen, her sister Mary Claire and her brother Richard, as well as her nieces, Christine, Julie, and nephew David: and grandnephews and nieces, Brendan, Patrick, Christopher, Caroline, Clare, and Kathleen.

Anne Marie’s interests as a young person were learning to play several instruments, the piano, organ, and cello. She played the cello in the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra in High School and as an adult played in the Brookline Symphony Orchestra. Her music filled the rooms in our house.

She was employed to work in research at Boston College, and was offered a position at Babson College where she continued working in the Field of Research until she retired.

Anne Marie was a person with impeccable integrity who shared her talents with many. Her dedication and pursuit of excellence were her trademark.

She will be truly missed by those who knew her and loved her. Peace

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements for the service are with the Holden Dunn Lawler Funeral Home in Westwood, MA
