Anna King, 82, of Natick, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2024 at Briarwood Rehab and Nursing Home in Needham.
Anna was born on October 31, 1941 in Boston to Souren and Arshalous (Tashjian) Medzorian. Anna was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and Nana. As a first generation Armenian American whose mother and father survived the genocide, Anna believed in living life with freedom of choice and empathy for others. She and her late husband, Billy King, raised their family in Pembroke where they lived for over 40 years before moving closer to their daughters and grandchildren in MetroWest Massachusetts.
Anna is survived by her three daughters, Gerianne Patti and her husband Dr. Paul Patti of Nashua, NH; Karen Allen and her husband, Tom of Walpole; and Dr. Patti Fletcher and her husband, Chris of South Natick; four grandchildren, Thomas and Christopher Allen, and Annabella and Gabriella Fletcher and her beloved grand-puppy Winnie; and her brother Harry Medzorian of Norwood. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James “Billy” or “Jim” King, by her parents, Souren and Arshalous Medzorian, and her sister, Almas Medzorian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Monday November 4th from 11am – 12:30pm. Following the Visitation, a Celebration of Anna’s Life will take place in the Funeral Home at 12:30pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory to the AIWA scholarship, the Arshalous Tashjian Scholarship, are welcome and appreciated.
