Amara, Angelo G., of Westwood died June 17th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife Florence (Gillis); daughters Lori Amara, Kara Amara, Sheri Amara and her husband Ralph Maglio, and Sara Amara Harkins; grandchildren Mia, Kelcey, Michael, and Jack; sister Carmela Angelo; and brother Anthony Amara.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Serafina (Spinelli) Amara; his sister Rose; and his brothers Joseph and Charles.
Angelo's favorite activity was restoring and maintaining antique cars. A member of the Bay State Antique Auto Club, North Atlantic Packard Club, Florida Packard, and the Pierce Arrow Society, he attended many car club events, parades, tours, competitions, and weekend getaways with his family.
Memorial donations may be made to the 'Italian Home for Children', Boston MA
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., WESTWOOD, on Wednesday June 20th from 4-8pm. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Thursday morning June 21st at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Denis Church, 157 Washington St., Westwood at 10am. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery.
